Die Gewinner der Oscars 2019

In der Nacht zum Montag wurden in Los Angeles die diesjährigen Oscars verliehen. Der Gewinner des Abends ist Green Book, der als bester Film ausgezeichnet wurde. Aus Genresicht ist vor allem Black Panther erwähnenswert. Die Comicverfilmung konnte sich am Ende drei Preise sichern. Zudem hatte mit Spider-Man: A new Universe noch ein weiterer Film, der auf Marvel-Comicfiguren basiert, einen Grund zur Freude. Die Sony-Produktion wurde als bester Animationsfilm ausgezeichnet.

Die deutschen Hoffnungen auf einen Oscar wurde nicht belohnt. In der Kategorie Bester ausländischer Film setzte sich am Ende Roma durch, der auch als Bester Film nominiert war. Für Werk ohne Autor von Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck gab es keinen Preis.
