Emmys 2019: Game of Thrones dominiert die Nominierungen

Am Dienstag wurden in den USA die Nominierten für die diesjährige Emmy-Verleihung bekannt gegeben. Die meisten Nominierungen konnte wieder einmal Game of Thrones für sich verbuchen. Trotz viel negativem Feedback für die 8. Staffel erhielt Game of Thrones insgesamt 32 Nominierungen und stellte damit einen neuen Rekord auf. Unter anderem sind allein in der Kategorie beste Nebendarstellerin vier von sechs Schauspielerinnen aus der Fantasy-Serie.

Darüber hinaus können sich auch die Verantwortlichen von Amazons The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel freuen, die 20 Nominierungen erhielten, sowie die Macher von HBOs Chernobyl, das für 19 Preise ins Rennen geht. Die Verleihung erfolgt am 20. September. Hier sind alle Kategorien in der Übersicht:
